My Process

  • Boise State University needed a centralized digital guide where students and parents could easily find all essential information about the university and life in Boise in one place. The goal was to reduce scattered resources and make information more accessible and organized.

At the same time, the experience needed to feel engaging, so it was designed like a digital book, making it more interactive, visual, and easy to explore instead of a traditional static page.

  • I built the project by first organizing all the content in Airtable, which served as the foundation for structuring and managing the information in a clear and scalable way. This helped keep all data centralized and easy to update throughout the design process.

After that, I focused on the visual and interactive side by designing and styling the experience using HTML and CSS. I shaped the layout to feel like a digital book, using styling to make the interface more engaging, readable, and visually consistent while keeping it simple and user-friendly.

  • The solution worked because it brought all essential information into one centralized and well-structured platform, reducing confusion caused by scattered sources. By organizing content in a clear flow, students and parents were able to quickly find what they needed without feeling overwhelmed.

Instead of presenting information as a dense webpage, the content was designed to feel like something users could naturally explore section by section.
